Tina Nigam

M.D.

Tina Nigam was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at The University of Michigan. During her college years, she traveled to Honduras to provide healthcare assistance in underprivileged villages, which ignited her passion for helping others. After graduation, she dedicated a year to AmeriCorps, focusing on developing clinics and enhancing health literacy in communities around Columbia, South Carolina.

Inspired to further her impact in healthcare, she pursued a medical degree (MD) at Michigan State University. There, her exceptional empathy and dedication to patient care earned her the prestigious Gold Humanism Award.

Dr. Nigam then honed her skills in neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she completed her Internal Medicine internship and Neurology residency. Known for her outstanding teaching abilities, she received multiple awards for her contributions to medical education.

Seeking to specialize further, Dr. Nigam completed a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the University of Michigan, solidifying her commitment to improving care for patients with complex neurological issues.

In her practice, Dr. Nigam is devoted to supporting her patients in achieving better neurological health. She specializes in a wide range of conditions, including stroke care, movement disorders, epilepsy, migraines, neuropathy, demyelinating diseases, and dementia. Her wealth of experience is matched by her warm and approachable demeanor, ensuring each patient receives personalized and compassionate care.

Outside her work, Dr. Nigam is an avid pickleball, tennis, and golf enthusiast. She enjoys discovering new restaurants and spending time at local beaches. A dedicated animal lover, she often fosters dogs and currently has a golden retriever, enriching her life with a sense of companionship and joy.
